This public park is open for camping from April until November. Located on the shores of Lake Winnebago, this park has a number of primitive campsites that will fit RVs up to 40 feet long. The campsites feel secluded with plenty of tree cover, so if you’re looking for RV camping near Appleton that is quiet and offers lake access, then Calumet County Park is a good choice.
This is not a camping spot for those looking for all the amenities of a resort. That said, the property does offer amenities like a modern laundry room and shower. There is also a store nearby where you can stock up on food and supplies. In addition, the lake is beautiful, and there is a launch available for putting your boat on the water.
“Very nice park. Well maintained, excellent shower and bathroom facilities. The campground was full but you don’t feel like your crowded. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.” – Dave, RV Park Reviews
