Calico Ghost Town & Campground is a San Bernardino County Regional Park that is almost like a theme park. Renovated by Walter Knott in the 1950s, it’s now a State Historical Landmark. Along with the fun activities, there’s a huge selection of outdoor recreation spots available near the park.
Calico Ghost Town has a long list of fun things to do, including off-road tours, mine tours, historical train tours, panning for gold, and mystery shack tours. There’s a lot of outdoor fun to be had at this RV park near San Bernardino. It was renovated to be a theme park, but still offers a wealth of information about California history.
“Love coming here with my kids and family friends. So much history to learn and get a work out walking around too. Loved that we can go and have lunch there or go to the benches where you can camp out and eat.” – Damaris, Google review
