Blue Valley is a simple, township-owned campsite within walking distance of the city. Wine aficionados will find a winery and a wine bar-art gallery duo located in town. One of the top local establishments, Bottle Rocket Brewing Company, was built in the 1940s and is known for its seasonal beer selections, and pub food menu.
Blue Valley Campground seems to have fallen under the radar even though it’s well-maintained and incredibly affordable. RVers looking for a simple, quiet overnight stay will be glad they found this park. There’s a two-week maximum stay so you won’t find any long-term residents here. In the area, there’s no shortage of fun activities. Try your hand at disc golf, visit the sports complex, or hike through Plum Creek Trail. As far as local camping sites go, Blue Valley Campground offers a refreshing balance of serenity and convenience.
“Very nice little camping area conveniently located on the edge of town and close to all of the things you could possibly need to make your stay perfect for a day or a couple weeks. You will be within one mile from anything you may need to make your stay perfect.” – Terry, Google Review
