On the northern edge of De Queen Lake is a great spot for picnics, motorcycle rides, and fishing. Bellah Mine COE campground provides a boat ramp for guests who want to catch some bass, catfish, and crappie. Various types of sunfish have also been reeled in at times by lucky fishermen.
De Queen campsites are normally level and convenient, but the set-up at the Bellah Mine park is exceptiol. While every site has the usual picnic table, fire ring, and grill, the arrangement makes use of terracing. The fire ring sits at the lowest level, and the grill and table are one tier above it.
“…COE outdid themselves on this park. Good level paving to park RV. All sites except waterfront in shade most of the day…” – Friz, RV Park Review
