Bear Creek Campground is southwest of Fort Worth. Sitting on a lake, it provides some of the most breathtaking views of any Fort Worth, Texas campground. The location is noted for its fossil hunting thanks to the area’s history that dates back about 85 million years.
The campground is open April through September, and you can enjoy boating and fishing on the lake throughout the entire season. Water and electricity hookups give you all of the comforts of home, and many sites offer campfire rings. Hot showers will also make it easier for you to enjoy yourself.
“very clean and quiet, nice place to visit with the family, staff even called us to make sure all was ok because we arrived a day late” – Juvencio, Google Review
