Bayard is just 20 miles down the highway from Scotts Bluff National Park, so this campground is ideal if you are looking for an affordable place to stay for a night near a top attraction. There are no amenities to speak of, but the campground does offer water and electric hookups. There is no staff for check-in, so come and go as you please as long as one of the three spots is available.
This is a great place to stay as a one-night stop off if you are on the move through Nebraska. It doesn’t offer much in the way of amenities, but there is a full power hookup. There are only three spots total at one end of the park, so it is a quiet place to camp.
“This was a great spot to spend the night. There are 3 campsites at the far east end of the park nearest 11th street. They are free for the first 2 nights, then $10 for additional nights. There is no check-in, no staff. They have water and electric.” – dsvy, RV Park Reviews
