Bay View State Park Campground is a small campground to the south of Bellingham. It is part of Bay View State Park, which features a beach and a number of shelters. In addition, this park includes a large grassy lawn that’s perfect for flying kites.
Bay View State Park Campground is one of the most remote campgrounds in the Bellingham area, and it is practically silent at night. The surrounding park is a perfect location for sailboarding, boating, and waterskiing. Plus, the 11,000-acre Padilla Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve is right next door to this campground.
“Nice, most spaces have good privacy. Needed to do some leveling… Plenty of room for awning & slide. Very friendly staff. Spaces 3 & 4 provide GREAT views (less privacy). Biggest issue for us was ground water… Late summer probably not a problem… March/April soggy ground everywhere (not in campsites).” – MalamuteMan, RV Park Reviews
