With more than 270 acres to explore, Bader Memorial Park certainly provides its visitors with plenty of space to explore. The park is located just 10 short miles east of Grand Island. This makes it close enough to all that Grand Island has to offer yet far enough out that you can enjoy the countryside in peace.
Part of the reason why Bader Memorial Park provides some of the best RV camping near Grand Island is its proximity to both the Platte and Wood rivers. When you stay here, you’ll be located near plenty of floodplain woodlands, sandpits, and tall grass prairies. You’ll find that there is a beautiful mix of trees, shrubbery, and wildlife to observe.
“The park managers are very accommodating people and we felt very welcome there. The sky is dark at night so you’ll get a good view of the stars and the water in the pond is very clear.” – Benjamin, Google Review
