This park is located about an hour away from Chautauqua on the northern border of Allegheny State Park. In this region, there are two amazing lakes that campers can swim, fish, canoe, or kayak in. There are also hiking trails throughout the area leading to some scenic overlooks and valleys.
This park may not be for those who are looking for lots of frills. However, if you want a basic camping experience with easy access to amazing lakes, this is your place. There are a museum and gift shop in the park along with basics like showers and bathrooms. You’ll have great opportunities for hiking, hunting, fishing, and swimming while you camp here.
“Stayed in Quaker area. It was an open area with no trees, which the website did make mention, so we knew about it, but the spaces are far apart so you have plenty of room.” Anonymous, RV Park Reviews
