Conesus Lake Campground is an RV park near in Finger Lakes that just celebrated its 55th anniversary. It sits near the bank of Conesus Lake and has its own dock. The campground is open from mid-May to mid-October.
Conesus Lake Campground is situated near the bank of the lake, so you can go boating. There are rental kayaks, pontoon boats, rowboats, and stand-up paddleboards. Holiday Hill Campground is roughly 40 miles south of Rochester. Attractions in the area include the Roseland Waterpark, Rochester and Genesee Valley Railroad Museum, and Rochester Museum and Science Center. These Finger Lakes camping sites are available from late April to early October.
Holiday Hill Campground is a great place to take the kids. There are several tourist attractions that are an hour’s drive away or less. The camp itself has four fishponds and is near a creek. There also is a mini-golf course, a playground, a basketball court, and several hiking trails.
