Cortland Country Music Park & Campgrounds has a decidedly country flare. Located in Cortland, the park has a pond located in the center of the park that offers fishing. Planned activities include fishing derbies, potluck dinner, and pancake breakfasts.
Live music is performed every Saturday night at the on-site Opry Barn, and dances take place every Sunday. Tribute dinner shows performed by talented local bands are a favorite among campers. It is located near Glen Creek, which cascades past cliffs 200 feet high and forms 19 waterfalls along the way, and situated at the southernmost tip of Lake Seneca in the village of Watkins Glen. Otisco Lake Campgrounds & Marina is located 20 miles southwest of Syracuse and east of Skaneateles. It is owned and operated by the Ryfun family. These Finger Lakes campsites are located right on Otisco Lake, which is home to a variety of fish including bass, trout, walleye, and tiger muskie.
If you love boating and fishing, you will love Otisco Lake Campgrounds & Marina, which is located right on the lake. You can rent motorboats, pontoons, canoes, kayaks, rowboats, and stand-up paddleboards. There are also nature trails, and many birds live in the area, including bald eagles, ducks, and geese.
